Tim Dymond, PhD University of Western Australia, works for the Community and Public Sector Union, and is writing a comparative study of the Australian and Israeli labour movements. His thesis focused on the ‘new class’ concept and sections were included in Us and Them: AntiElitism in Australia (2004).

Norman Etherington, PhD Yale, is Emeritus Professor of History, University of Western Australia. The author of numerous studies on British imperialism, South African history and mission studies, his recent books include Missions and Empire (2005) and Mapping Colonial Conquest: Australia and Southern Africa (2007).

Fiona Groenhout, based in London, recently completed her PhD at the University of Western Australia and is currently revising her thesis for publication.

Jason Lim, PhD University of Western Australia, lectures part-time on Modern Southeast Asian history in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Peter Limb, PhD University of Western Australia, is Adjunct Associate Professor, History and Africana Bibliographer, Michigan State University. His books include Nelson Mandela: A Biography (2008) and, with Norman Etherington and Peter Midgley, Indigenous Responses to Colonialism. He also has written on Australian historian Fred Alexander and the Australian anti-apartheid movement.

Natalie Lloyd, PhD University of Western Australia, is a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Auckland and is writing a history of twentieth-century agricultural science, imperial exchange and deficiency diseases in livestock.

Jennifer McGuire, PhD University of Western Australia, has taught British History and Politics courses at Curtin University. She is working as a corporate communication consultant in Perth.

Jeremy Martens, PhD Queen’s University, Ontario, is a Lecturer in History at the University of Western Australia.

Felicity Morel-EdnieBrown, PhD University of Western Australia, is an Honorary Research Fellow, Discipline of History, University of Western Australia.

Ryôta Nishino, PhD University of Western Australia, is an independent scholar and a translator of Japanese and English.

Keith Smith, PhD University of Western Australia, is an independent scholar.

Jennifer Weir, PhD University of Western Australia, is a Senior Lecturer at Murdoch University, where she coordinates the Academic Women in Leadership and Development (WILD) Programme.
